EU on KI

On the 30th of January, we were proud to serve Cloud Juice at a gala dinner for European Union Ambassadors at Cape Wickham Golf Club. The EU Ambassadors were on a two day trip designed to understand how King Island uses its brand to sell products, such as its world famous, cheese, beef and, of course; Cloud Juice rainwater.

Cloud Juice Founder, Duncan McFie is also chair of the King Island Brand Management Committee. Duncan said the trip would provide an opportunity “to showcase our food produce and services” to the international community. He added, “the Committee also supported these Geographical Indicator protections as the “absolute premium, absolute clean and absolute green” image of King Island - an important selling point for local producers”.

We’re looking forward to seeing Cloud Juice on the tables of Europe’s finest restaurant tables very soon!

New trends in bottled water!

Many thanks to Fine Waters Founder, Michael Mascha and Water Sommelier, Martin Riese for featuring Cloud Juice in the latest edition of their Fine Water Academy. Michael and Martin are doing great work to spread the word that “WATER IS NOT JUST WATER” and its really good to know our bottled rainwater is right on trend. Let’s all drink to that!

Cloud Juice in Barcelona

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting Spanish Water Sommelier, Faustino Muñoz Soria (www.fmsoria.com) at his wonderful Colmado Quilez Gourmet Store in downtown Barcelona (www.lafuente.es). As well as stocking a great range of bottled waters, Faustino is the author of a guide to waters from both Spain and the around the World, titled “AGUAS DE ESPAÑA Y DEL MUNDO”. I was delighted to see Cloud Juice is included in this fascinating book and discovered that in Spanish, Cloud Juice is translated as “Zumo de Nubes”. Well, you learn something new every day! Cloud Juice will be available at Colmado Quilez very soon; in the meantime, Gracias Faustino and ¡hasta pronto!

Cloud Juice on German TV

Despite what the song says: “It Never Rains in Southern California”, Water Sommelier Martin Riese, brings a drop of Cloud Juice to Los Angeles in a report on Germany’s RTL TV. It looks like King Island rainwater and LA sunshine really are the perfect combination. Thanks Martin!
